Lajran Rural District ( Persian: دهستان لجران) is in the Central District of Garmsar County, Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Lajran. [3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,895 in 1,845 households. [4] There were 6,353 inhabitants in 1,893 households at the following census of 2011. [5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,514 in 2,258 households. The most populous of its 100 villages was Karand, with 1,273 people. [2]
