At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 7,102 in 2,119 households. [6] There were 6,497 inhabitants in 2,261 households at the following census of 2011. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,111 in 2,227 households. The most populous of its 10 villages was Gileva Dashtan, with 1,706 people. [2]
