Galugah ( Persian: گلوگاه) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Bandpey-ye Sharqi District of Babol County, Mazandaran province, Iran. [4] It also serves as the administrative center for Sajjadrud Rural District. [5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,512 in 644 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,643 people in 733 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 6,908 people in 2,138 households. [2]
