Switzerland probably should be removed from this map, it's not an EU country, and none of the other EU language maps have it coloured in. Chipmunkdavis ( talk) 23:51, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Germans (german people), german speakers and fans of german language want to add Switzerland because there is third big speaking German language country in Europe and inside around 60%... but basic something this map is for countries who are inside in European Union and not outside... Switzerland reject to join in European Union and we can't count Switzerland as European union-member... Renaming this map can resolve current problem or Switzerland to join in EU otherwise the name of this map is wrong or the countries who are there is wrong. -- Николов ( talk) 08:06, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Shouldn’t the northern part of Belgium, Flanders, also be marked as the Netherlands are? -- 138.246.2.71 ( talk) 15:40, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
German is described as a native language in Alsace, France. I am from there, and I can assure you it is completely false. Lots of people speak it more or less fluently, and some are native Alsatian speakers, but they are not a majority anymore and it is not German. This must be adressed.
