Summary

Description
English: The voice of Emperor Charles I of Austria (1915)

Transcription:

Viribus Unitis!"

Translation:

"I was on all fronts with every detachment of our glorious army.
I saw how the whole huge monarchy was moving in perfect harmony towards a great goal.
A glorious world.
In the eyes of all soldiers one could read pugnacity and confidence in victory.
Expressions of great love for our adored supreme commander and boundless trust in God sounded from the lips of each of these heroes.
Heroes of the hinterland are also worthy of admiration as silent sufferers.
Those who either lost their loved ones during the war or live in constant fear for their loved ones.
Corresponding to these times is military assistance, where everyone who cannot defend the Fatherland on his own with a sword in his hand, seeks to alleviate the severe suffering of all honest warriors with endless good deeds.

Viribus Unitis!!"
