Fazelabad ( Persian: فاضل آباد) [a] is a city in Kamalan District of Aliabad County, Golestan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Estarabad Rural District. [4] The people of Fazelabad speak a dialect of Mazanderani language called Katoli. [5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 13,060 in 3,154 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 14,548 people in 4,084 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 19,461 people in 5,869 households. [2]
