Farhadabad ( Persian: فرهاداباد) [a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Mirbag-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran. [4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to Masumabad. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,568 in 321 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,648 people in 359 households. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,635 people in 393 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
In 2023, Itivand and Mirbag Districts were established, with two rural districts each that were transferred from Kakavand District and the Central District, respectively. [8] Farhadabad merged with the village of Shahnabad to form the new village of Mirbag. [5]
