Farasfaj ( Persian: فرسفج) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Qolqol Rud District of Tuyserkan County, Hamadan province, Iran. [4] It also serves as the administrative center for Qolqol Rud Rural District. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,608 in 443 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,721 people in 486 households. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,526 people in 457 households. [2]
