Trailblazer101:This statement was not saying Peter Parker would not be Spider-Man Noir in this, it was literally just stating that he would not be the main character. It would be
WP:OR to assume otherwise.

I have simplified the wording. I was not trying to have it imply Spider-Man Noir is not Parker, though I see there is some confusion in the way I worded it. I have adjusted it to hopefully evade this. You should be aware of
WP:Bold, revert, discuss to better constructively contribute with editors, rather than assuming what other editors' intent actually is and repeatedly reverting to your preferred version. It is always easier to communicate on a talk page than via edit summaries.

Your wording still implies it in the production section with "who is the identity of Spider-Man Noir in the comics". Could I cut that part of the line? That seems like a good compromise that doesn't make a statement either way.

Mentioning who Parker is is not implying the character is not Parker. We just don't have a source saying Noir in this is named Parker yet. There is nothing wrong with explaining who Parker is in the comics here to make it easier for readers to understand it.
