Description
The Red Fraction originated as a split from the Communist Party of Chile, in which they denounced the "revisionism" of their former party and adopted Marxism-Leninism-Maoism principally Maoism as defined by the Partido Comunista del Perú-Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL), a communist group which is considered a terrorist organization by the government of Peru. Ideology
The ideology of the movement is based in the contributions of Universal Validity Chairman Gonzalo. [1][ unreliable source?] [4][ non-primary source needed] This originated in the 2000s within the international movement, being adopted recently by organizations such as the Communist Party of Brazil (a Maoist party in Brazil). The group is a member of the International Communist League, [6] a Maoist international organization which seeks the reconstitution of the Communist International.
