Outdoor News is a newspaper founded in 1968, headquartered in Plymouth Minnesota [1] [2] which publishes and prints seven different weekly papers for the following states: Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. [3] The paper also operates an Online newspaper. Articles in the paper feature news of interest to outdoor enthusiasts, particularly hunters and fishers. In addition to the opinion articles that the paper's reporters and columnists write, Outdoor News also covers news from legislative bodies and the Department of Natural Resources that affect hunting, fishing, and other outdoors activities. Outdoor News sponsors various outdoors related trade shows and events, such as the 2024 Game Fair [4] and the Wisconsin trapping tournament [5]. Outdoors News has created and hosted the Deer and Turkey Classic since 2016.
