Dr. Helga Kristjánsdóttir is a professor at the University of Akureyri. Helga publications cover a range of international research projects, primarily on international economics [1] [2] [3].

NOITS (The Nordic International Trade Seminars) was established in Stockholm, March 1998, at the network’s first annual workshop. NOITS aims to organize annual workshops with presentations by Nordic researchers and graduate students specializing in international economics. Helga Kristjánsdóttir has organized the NOITS conference three times, on the behalf of Iceland.
Family
The husband of Helga Kristjánsdóttir is Sveinn Benediktsson, and they have two children.
