Dizan ( Persian: ديزان) [a] is a village in Jovestan Rural District [b] of Bala Taleqan District, Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran.
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 570 in 194 households, when it was in Bala Taleqan Rural District of the former Taleqan District, Savojbolagh County, Tehran province. [5] In October 2010, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Taleqan as its capital and only city. The rural district was transferred to the new Bala Taleqan District. [4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 665 people in 248 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province. [6] It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
