Hi there. Is there an appropriate category for the people who win this award but are not the directors of the short film that actually won this award? For example,
Kobe Bryant won this award in 2018 but he was not the director of the film - he was a producer and writer. Currently he is categorized in
Category:Best Animated Short Academy Award winners, which in theory is fine, but it might be cleaner if that category was reserved for the films themselves rather than the people who won the awards. This came up because of
this diff. Initially I just reverted it, but I think he has a point. Perhaps this category could be expanded to include non-directors somehow, as long as the person was actually awarded the Oscar? -
