Adaran ( Persian: آدران) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Adaran Rural District, of Asara District, Karaj County, Alborz province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 581 in 192 households, when it was in Tehran province. [5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population had decreased to 391 people in 138 households, [2] by which time the county had separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province. [6]
