At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 6,329 in 1,486 households. [5] There were 6,819 inhabitants in 1,931 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,701 in 2,019 households. The most populous of its seven villages was Abaru, with 3,585 people. [2]
