Ab Cheshmeh ( Persian: اب چشمه) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Hendmini Rural District of Hendmini District, Badreh County, Ilam province, Iran. [4] The previous capital of the rural district was Cheshmeh Shirin. [5] The village is populated by Lurs. [6]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 891 in 167 households, when it was in the former Badreh District of Darreh Shahr County. [7] The following census in 2011 counted 710 people in 166 households. [8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 658 people in 169 households, [2] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Badreh County. [4]
