Abel Prize "for his seminal contributions to regularity theory for nonlinear partial differential equations including free-boundary problems and the
Monge–Ampère equation". He becomes the first Latin American to win this prize.[2]

Javier Milei for the second round with ~36% and ~30% of the votes respectively.[6]

government will not renew contracts for more than 5,000 employees hired this year before he took office, as part of plans for cutbacks to the government.[12]
