At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,705 in 1,131 households. [6] There were 4,517 inhabitants in 1,360 households at the following census of 2011. [7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,858 in 1,286 households. The most populous of its five villages was Eskandari-ye Baraftab, with 1,601 people. [2]
