Yurlinsky District ( Russian: Ю́рлинский райо́н) is an administrative district ( raion) of Komi-Permyak Okrug of Perm Krai, Russia; one of the thirty-three in the krai. [1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Yurlinsky Municipal District. [5] It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 3,831 square kilometers (1,479 sq mi). [2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Yurla. [1] Population: 9,609 ( 2010 Russian census); [3] 12,162 ( 2002 Census); [7] 15,889 ( 1989 Soviet census). [8] The population of Yurla accounts for 42.6% of the district's total population. [3]
Over 80% of the district's territory is covered by forests. [2]
