Yamaçköy is a village in the Güroymak District of Bitlis Province in Turkey. [1] Its population is 943 as of 2021. [2]
History
The village was formerly known as Pav in 1556 and Pov in 1902, both of which are of Armenian origin. [3] [4]
Geography
The village is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. [5] It is surrounded by the villages of Üzümveren, Yazıkonak, Kuştaşı, and Özkavak. [6]
