Wilmington Township is one of fifteen townships in DeKalb County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,995 (down from 4,128 at the 2010 census [4]) and it contained 1,600 housing units.

History

Wilmington Township was organized in 1837. [5] [6]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.98 square miles (93.2 km2), of which 35.97 square miles (93.2 km2) (or 99.97%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) (or 0.03%) is water. [4]
