William W. "W.W." Braden (1837–1897) was an American politician and farmer who served as the fourth Minnesota State Auditor from 1882 to 1891. He previously served in the Minnesota Legislature from 1867 to 1869, representing the 14th legislative district of Minnesota as a Republican in the 9th and 10th Minnesota Legislatures.
Early life
Braden was born in Ohio in 1837. [1] He came to Minnesota in 1854, 1855, or 1856.
Career
Braden served in the 6th Minnesota Infantry Regiment in the 1860s during the American Civil War.
Braden served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1867 to 1869, representing the 14th legislative district of Minnesota as a Republican in the 9th and 10th Minnesota Legislatures. [2]
During his time in office, Braden served on the following committees. He chaired the Enrollment and Charitable Institutions committees.

Braden resided in Lenora, Minnesota. He died in California in 1897. [1]
