You are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Content assessment#Proposal: Reclassification of Current & Future-Classes as time parameter, which is within the scope of this WikiProject. This WikiProject received this message because it currently uses "Current" and/or "Future" class(es). There is a proposal to split these two article "classes" into a new parameter "time", in order to standardise article-rating across Wikipedia ( per RfC), while also allowing simultaneous usage of quality criteria and time for interest projects. Thanks! — CX Zoom[he/him] ( let's talk • { C• X}) 06:40, 2 July 2023 (UTC)

Both New Mexican cuisine and New Mexico chile could use additional watchlisters, and the first of these is badly in need of additional citations. We're getting a lot of drive-by edits to do things like inject promotion of specific product lines, to make spelling changes that are confused and wrong (based on English-speakers' assumptions about how Spanish works), and strange claims, e.g. that tacos are not part of NM cuisine, than NM frito pie is significantly different from any other kind, and so forth. Just rampant opinion-mongering. The lack of citations for much of the probably correct but still unreferenced material in the article is likely directly inspiring such changes. It might even be preferable to remove anything from the article that isn't citation-supported and kind of start from scratch, than continue to have the article limp along as what at least looks like a pile of WP:OR. The New Mexican cuisine article is by no means devoid of citations, but the list of dishes has numerous unsourced entries, and there are lots of comments in other sections which have been added without citations over the years. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 17:49, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
