UFO PHIL

Hi there:

UFOPhil is a fun character - and appears on local news programs and on Coast To Coast. He has flair and color and I say keep the page up!

I say the page should stay. There are a variety of verifiable sources, particularly from media outlets such as the Huffington Post. That, coupled with cited appearances on national radio and television shows, is more than enough to prove the legitimacy of the page's subject. The information provided is more of a documentation of these facts and less a matter of self-promotion, like some are claiming. I feel it falls well within the guidelines of Wikipedia policy, as it's sort of exactly why this database exists in the first place.

I've seen artists with Wikipedia pages who have less credible sources cited and no one contests them. This is pure ridiculousness borne out of pettiness. Keep the page. Indyligo ( talk) 20:21, 7 August 2018 (UTC) reply
