OS stats update

On request, I have updated the OS stats. My update is far from perfect, and the numbers are, as you might notice, a bit lower than AGK's old updates (if you compare the overlapping months), but given the time since any updates were offered they're probably better than nothing. Please double check that the join/depart stuff is accurate as that is not something I generally keep up to date about. Snowolf How can I help? 08:12, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Statistical table

Can you more clearly define what an "action" consists of that you are keeping tabs on? I see some folks with a lot, others with 0 but I don't understand what actions this entail. Thanks for any answer you can provide. Liz Let's Talk 22:00, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Are these algorithmically generated?

@ DoRD: out of curiosity, are you assembling these statistics by hand, or are you generating these via some script? L Faraone 22:11, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

For many months now, we've been sniffing around for a script for compiling these stats. Unfortunately - I believe - they are still compiled by hand. AGK [•] 22:27, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
Really? I do have one for the CU stats, but it's a bit of a mess ... but could be rewritten to JS for easier use here. Amalthea 22:45, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
Compiling the numbers is easy. I just copy/paste into a text editor, remove the extraneous bits, and pull it into an Excel spreadsheet. Updating the tables is the painful, tedious part. — DoRD ( talk) 01:02, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
I was considering writing a tool using the MediaWiki API and OAuth, but wanted to make sure I wasn't duplicating effort. Now that I know how horrible the process is, I'll look into getting a round tuit. L Faraone 01:40, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Slight disconnect

Newyorkbrad and myself left the committee at pretty much the same time, (barely a week ago) but for whatever reason he's highlighted as being exempt as a sitting arb for the last six months and myself, Worm, and t. Canens are not. Beeblebrox ( talk) 19:59, 3 February 2015 (UTC)

Interesting. I'm actually surprised it's that high considering the arb workload. Speaking of arbs, is there any intent or interest in enforcing the minimum activity requirements? We've got several OSers who simply are not using the tool, or using so rarely as to be insignificant, and the committee has been aware of this for some time now. Corrections for Doug Weller's Stats

I just realized that some of the stats for Doug Weller have been incorrect. The reason it was zero for a number of months is that his alternate account (Dougweller) was used to check the logs, instead of his functionary account (Doug Weller). For full transparency, I've posted his stats for the whole year below. The current six month span on the table has been corrected. Mike VTalk 21:13, 6 November 2015 (UTC)

The actions for CUers rose a great deal in July which I assumed was just a summer fluctuation. But while the numbers have gone down, they are still much higher than in the spring with 5 or 6 CUers doing the lion's share of checking. My question is are there enough CUers? I don't want the busiest ones to burn out. Or, are some CUers inactive who might return to former levels of activity? Liz Read! Talk! 21:17, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
