I think this is one of my favorite so far. I like the simple choices you've made for the headers, avoiding busy boxes or icons. It's very sophisticated and smart. You've put a lot of emphasis on the text and I think that's perfect for our encyclopedia.

I think this one is great except for the fact that the main header ("Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit") doesn't stand out at all. There needs to be some sort of header or something, because as of now it's just plain text that's easily skipped over. But other than that great work. — Fatal Error 18:35, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
I must say, kinda sexy. Yeago ( talk) 01:43, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
FatalError, thedemonhog and Yeago. Thanks for your comments. For now I've removed all HTML and CSS because even my simplest of rendering doesn't appear on the page. I hope others working on this project are having better luck! — SusanLesch ( talk) 05:38, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
The page is just a bit too wide - I have to scroll sideways to read all of the right hand column. Additionally, the text in that column stretches outside the borders of the box, overlapping the background strip to the right. Anaxial ( talk) 19:39, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I really like your entry. With the image of a search box, you don't let yourself be constrained by the expected size of the page? You also managed to understand the source and created the page with minimal code (unlike me and Dudefellamanbra, we pack as much code as we possibly can). I'm not sure if this one will be made into the main page, but by the method you used to code it — it holds a lot of potential; keep proposing new ideas and insight, I really like your entry.
