Daphne Guinness updates

Back in April, I proposed a few updates to improve the quality of the Daphne Guinness article here, and since the official Request Edits Queue seems to be stalled right now, I was wondering if an independent editor from here might be interested in reviewing my proposals. (I can’t implement them myself since I have a conflict of interest and am aware that would be a violation of Wikipedia policy.) Could someone in this WikiProject please take a look at these requests? Thanks for your time. YhSA99b3tTnCnLdr ( talk) 19:06, 8 August 2022 (UTC) reply

Is this project inactive? I dispute this

Few months ago this project was tagged as inactive. I don't think this is correct (I still stop by here every now and often). Ping User:UnitedStatesian (re this, and this). I'd like to see Template:WikiProject Popular Culture reactivated and Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team/Popular_Culture_articles_by_quality_statistics undeleted (ping User:Liz). There are more deleted maintence categories at Wikipedia:WikiProject Popular Culture/Assessment. Why delete such useful tools even if a project is semiactive or inactive? I was following a research link to https://wp1.openzim.org/#/project/Popular_Culture/articles?quality=FA-Class and due to the recent deletion, it's all dead. @ Piotrus (and fyi, @ Liz): I would turn your question around and ask: what evidence is there that this project is active? Not a single talkpage item before this one has gotten a response. What article within scope of the project has recently been made a Good Article, or Featured Article, due to the efforts of this project? Is there any other way the project members are currently collaborating on this topic? One person, no matter how dedicated, does not a WikiProject make. @ UnitedStatesian Fair point, but inactivity is no justification for gutting useful infrastructure that wasn't hurting anyone and was useful to some folks (like me). I am less concerned with the status of this project than with the destruction of the assessment done by this project in the past. Wikipedia:WikiProject Popular CultureWikipedia:WikiProject Popular culture – "Popular Culture" -> "Popular culture" to match the WikiProject naming convention used by the majority of multi-word WikiProjects (Military history, College football, Women's sport, etc.).   ~  Tom.Reding ( talkdgaf)  11:01, 5 June 2024 (UTC) reply

I think you messed this up, unless you really meant to propose that a project page be moved to a Talk page. That said, if/when this is refactored, I'd support "WikiProject Popular culture" with the lowercase c. DonIago ( talk) 14:00, 5 June 2024 (UTC) reply
