When it comes to adding images, we need to be able to add the alt tag and make it mandatory. This would comply with ADA.

The applause at the end of each mission made me smile on the inside.
If the editing features were more user friendly and didn't show the coding portions of the text, it would make it more appealing, however, I still plan on contributing and editing if I find something that doesn't match with my background of research in Nutrition and Exercise.
A video guided presentation of using wikipedia could be a nice addition.
Same as above. Showing the coding portion in the texts. That can be eliminated. Not all of us are coders but it sure is fascinating to learn about.
Thank you for all that Wiki gives to the world. It truly makes the world a more defined place to actually have access with the click of a button to all of its glory.

This was a fun, friendly game, perfect for introducing new editors too. I liked the "space adventure" theme and how it highlights the two most important things when it comes to articles: Neutrality and Verification.
There wasn't much I had to bother with, except for modifying my userpage in a way I didn't like.
Could there be a section on reverting edits like vandalism and warning users? There's plenty of that here, so it could be useful for new editors. Also some mention of protected pages could be welcomed, as well as finding images and sources (don't always expect for another user to find them).
...
How did you make this game? I would like to try that at some point.

Hi, I think the adventure is a great idea. But it does not work on my laptop, since the boxes with instructions are overlapping the edit window. So I cannot do what I am asked for, e.g. edit my user page, since the publish changes window is hidden behind the adventure window and I cannot move them. Any ideas how to fix this? There's nothing wrong with this. Keep up the good work!

It was clear, concise and wasn't to rushed.
I personally think that it used the buttons a lot. Mayby you guys can make a... Wiki Adventure TWO!.
The typeing, and maybe more interaction with real wiki users. Maybe you can have a vandal that we have to reply to, or fix the mistakes of?
Well... Ummmm... I can't think so. It was an amazing game!. (I want to be constructive, and also have some constructive criticism, but now I don't :|.)
You could add another extra mission, and make it so that the user has to type more? That's all for now.

It's a nice paced tutorial to start editing in Wikipedia.
Sometimes the pop-up messages didn't appear, specially when editing the contents of a page. I had to click "View history" and then they appear.
I think it was a complete tutorial.
Dividing the tutorial in so many parts might seem unnecessary. Combining some parts of the tutorial into the same "Section" could be nicer.

Just my two cents. The Wikipedia logo inside the adventure should maybe be a vector graphic.
Maybe removing vandalism would be fun. But it is fine so far! Also, File:Infyuthsion_-_Lost_In_Space.ogg should be the background music for the adventure. But it can be done manually anyway. Maybe it should be opened in a new tab automatically.

Broke everything into nicely-sized pieces, so that users weren't presented with a wall of instructive text. I also like how tactfully this approached topics like vandalism, emotion and bias. It's easy for discussion on those topics to get derailed. Overall I found it very effective and hit just the right tone.

During image editing, users should be told about alt tags and ideally provided alt text to insert. To support web accessibility, the habit should be started early to always include an alt tag with every image added to the web, unless the image is ornamental.

It pollutes the contribution history; I don't know if that's avoidable though.
It was nice overall. I didn't have many issues aside from a popups partially blocking buttons that I needed to click to progress in the game sometimes (this might be due to the fact that I use the Timeless skin). I think that the game should be more prominently featured in the website to reach the target audience (which is beginning Wikipedians I presume); in my case, I stumbled upon this game by accident.

I really liked the overall idea and concept of the tutorial-esque minigame.
This is probably just me but, I personally wanted to have the option of skipping some of the steps. Several times it was bugged on a certain place when I realized it was because I was going too fast and skipping ahead. For example, when publishing, if you didn't click the next step, where the next step would tell you to publish it, it would not make it count as you doing it, and when clicking the 'next' you would then realize that you messed up by not clicking it first and then publishing.
Maybe more information on wiki policies/rules/guidelines? Give the user a quick rundown of important WP articles ie. WP:NPOV, WP:N, and WP:SOURCE just to name a few. (I understand NPOV was addressed but maybe add a little more information)
Nothing was "unneccesary" all of that was pretty much something an editor starting out would need.
For some reason I somehow missed this entire thing when I was first starting to edit. Would have probably used this tutorial a year ago if I found it.

The badges were a nice touch. The ui makes it fun to use.
The fact that if you already made a user page, you can't progress past stage 1. It is very annoying knowing that on my main account I will never be able to finish TWA. Another thing, sometimes you need to make a certain edit or edit summary but anything will work. Make it so you have to edit what is told.

...I wish it would have been clearer and easier to navigate through. I was doing the tutorial and then I'd be done with a step and not know how to get back on track. I was lucky to kind of blunder back on it by going to the beginning again. Also the final step is very vague. We are asked to create sections on the Earth page but we aren't told how to do it. The answer is also not at all straight forward. It took me a very long time to figure out that this is done by changing the intro sentences to each paragraph to "heading" font.
...More of a sense of progress through steps A B C D etc. leading to a goal. As is each step kind of seems out of context or random.

The alien/space theme. An organized way to learn.
Should clarify how to add links and retain heading style. Should teach how to write descriptive alt text and why it’s important Should clarify that you must add the article content between the 3 closing divs, otherwise it will be mis-formatted alongside the rest of the page.
I would have liked to have written real edits and cited real sources so that my tutorial work actually helped wikipedia.
When it said to click “insert” after adding the citation: I don’t think this was needed? I couldn’t find a button other than the dropdown, and it worked without it. The songs you could play at the end of each section
I wasn't sure how to add a feedback section to this page, but I realized I needed to click "edit source" at the top instead of at the section headers. CBlanton (WMF) ( talk) 23:42, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

I felt that it covered the most salient aspects of editing the wikipedia. Also, I liked the overall tone, which is very positive and open.
After my browser (chrome) got hung and I had to kill it, I monitored the memory usage on my PC. It would quickly grow, especially when finishing up a topic, so I had to restart chrome repeatedly to avoid it hanging and forcing me to kill it again. I checked the list of bugs, and was surprised to find nothing about this in there. I am using "Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)" of Chrome on Kubuntu 20.04 (KDE Plasma Version 5.18.8, KDE Frameworks Version 5.68.0, Qt Version: 5.12.8, Kernel Version 5.4.0-100-generic) on an HP Desktop with 4 x Intel Core i3-3440 CPU @3.30GHz with 7.6 GiB of RAM.
I'd like to scan and post some images in the enclosures to some CDs I have, so I would like to have learned more about how to do that without violating any copyright rules. Maybe I can find those guidelines on the wikimedia site?
Having the tutorial popup follow me around on the other pages I would access while taking a break from the tutorial. I noticed that this issue is in the list of bugs people are working on, but you asked so I'm just sayin' it bugs me too.
The image of GaiaGirl is a bit too bizarre for my tastes. It is difficult for me to see what's going on there.

Every time I was asked to edit the source and then published changes, I was unable to 'progress' along the adventure. I simply got the option to go backwards or would get stuck in a loop of going back to complete the same action again and again. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if there is an error. I'm using Safari. Thanks.
Accessibility. That’s something I can note.

It was an excellent introduction to editing! Good for learning how to do basic tasks.
It was hard to use and interact with. You have to click everything in the correct order otherwise the whole thing breaks, and the X button should have a warning, such as "Are you sure you would like to exit mission?" when clicked.
More initiative on the user's part, a lot of it is copy & paste.
The buttons you must press to signify you have copied text or added something, because they serve no functional purpose and if you do not press them it does not continue.
The image insert part is either outdated or has a very misleading explanation.
-- Roundish ( talk) 23:04, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
It taught me a lot about how you could add edit summaries to your talk page posts!
Some of the information was outdated,or didn't include some details. For example, when adding an image, it didnt include what to do in the 'Alt' section.
Practice of talking with other people.
The stats were a bit confusing.
Thank you for doing this!
-- TeddyBearRocker123 ( talk) 21:37, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
The theme was cute, the names of the characters in particular, and the soundbyte rewards were very funky.
While I can see how it would be great for junior editors, it was below my skill level, I finished it to ensure I had all the badges but some clarification of where one should be at in terms of capacity would have been nice.
Levels for higher-level editing stuff, but I suppose that's more of a 'learn as you edit' thing, right?
Nothing :)
I feel bad being so critical as on the whole I was quite impressed by the whole experience and would recommend it to everyone learning to use the internet.

That's easy and clear enough to understand for anyone who is willing to contribute to Wikipedia. The whole concept is wonderful and the storyline adorable and fun to follow!
If you forget to click the blue button of the conversation, which happened to me three or four times, the edit won't be taken into account by the storyline. But there is nothing that I actually disliked.
Some more editing and coding, perhaps.
Nothing!
Wikipedia is a wonderful platform and being able to contribute to it as a thank you, that's actually really cool. That's why I decided to travel space and embark on the Wikipedia Adventure! -- OfaraZodyak ( talk) 14:21, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
The font for the logo of The Wikipedia Adventure and the background were great. Also the error sounds and the general language.
Maybe it's because I'm set on UK English so it automatically tries to spell words that way, but when I went to wikilink to "Urbanisation", all I could get was "Urbanization" as that's the page. I guess there's no way of making the two fit for this quest?
Just one brief visit to The Tearoom. Perhaps more there would be good but then it might get too long.
It all seemed fine.
Good!

Very useful and interactive tool/game!
This isn't a problem with TWA, but I didn't even know it existed until now, and I've been making minor edits for some time. I think this should be more visible on the Learn to edit page. It's very easy to follow!

Technically, many parts, but I think it's engaging and well-designed. The fun stuff doesn't distract from the objective.
TWA may need to updates in some parts. For example, it states that Commons has over 16 million files; it has now surpassed 89 million and is moving rapidly! Some proofreading of the grammar in the tutorial might also be advisable.

Hi TWA team! This was a great experience. I liked the clarity of the walkthrough overall. My only thought about the progression of events is that the Edit Source sections on the top of the page didn't show up with the most updated version of Wikipedia's interface, so I wasn't able to click on those until I changed my settings to an older Wikipedia interface. Thank you! Gapbridger ( talk) 18:57, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
I loved how the tutorial walked you through editing articles that are tied to your user account, so you don't need to worry about screwing things up. I also really liked the emphasis on how everything is easily reversible, and how you are encouraged to edit articles.
I only really had two complaints in the tutorial, the first being that there's no way to skip past the badges being added without manually modifying the `step` section in the URL, and my second complaint was a careless error on my part that caused me to be stuck in the Rich Text Editor instead of the Source Editor.
I would love to have something added to the citations chapter on what to do if there are conflicting citations.
Huge thanks to the creators of this experience! I love the user friendliness that Wikipedia shows and am excited to get editing!

I enjoyed how fast paced and informative this tutorial was. It boosted my confidence by a lot.
There were one or two bugs. When I followed the instructions on adding headers, the formatting broke. Not sure what's up with that but I was able to fix it.
More information on how to do more advanced formatting would be nice. It would be cool if additional modules were added with this information.
I think some of the social/civility stuff was unnecessary but I guess it's better to let people know the community policy for interactions.

The guide is structured, and simulates well a real day-to-day scenario of editing and messaging on the talk page.
I think there were too many callouts, and I didn't understand why the tutorial adds pages to my user page without telling me how to delete/remove it, later.
Writing style exercises.
I found that the badges and congrats were given after every few clicks. It's nice, but a bit overdone, TMHO. What does the "Congrats me" button do? I isn't clear; maybe just "next" or "continue to next mini-lesson".
The callouts/dialogs were stuck without an option to move or minimize them. This interfered seeing the link and image dialog forms, as well as editing the text after clicking "Edit source". I had to enlarge the window size and move the underneath dialog just so I could see its form, or to scroll text behind the dialog when editing the source.
Regarding content issues, I found these issues on units 6 or 7:
-- Talchu ( talk) 18:43, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
What I saw of the tutorial seemed like a good, basic foundation. Very interactive.
Getting stuck on level 3? Or was it 4? It wanted me to bold some text and save the change, which I did, but then it just booted me back to the same step and told me to bold the text again?
I would have liked to have seen more of the tutorial! Not to come across as passive-aggressive, it did really seem interesting!
I do wish we hadn't had to edit our own user page so much. I don't really like drawing so much attention to myself when I don't know what I'm doing. Then again, I can understand wanting to get the worst mistakes out of the way on a new user page with very little time invested into it rather than on an article.
This was on Firefox, Ver. 119.0.1, Win10.

Also some mention of protected pages could be welcomed, as well as finding images and sources (don't always expect for another user to find them).
...

Broke everything into nicely-sized pieces, so that users weren't presented with a wall of instructive text. I also like how tactfully this approached topics like vandalism, emotion and bias. It's easy for discussion on those topics to get derailed. Overall I found it very effective and hit just the right tone.

Everything
The badges. They didn't feel like they were worth anything. On my new test account I got within 2 badges a minute it feels like.
Just sometimes how you get stuck on something if you have already done it is so annoying.

...I liked the order and structure. It is very useful to get a simple and clear introduction to such a daunting thing.
...I wish it would have been clearer and easier to navigate through.

When you do the same mission more than once, the templates start to duplicate, leading to a... well, questionable experience.
Maybe some more stuff on policies? Not really sure.

The theme of an Earth article in a galactic Wikipedia was very cute and engaging.
The interface felt very clunky.
An ability to skip past tedious skills I was already familiar with. Also, compatibility for users without the Visual Editor would have been convenient.

I thought the Wikipedia Adventure was a great start to learn the little things of Wikipedia more easily.
I loved the approach to make learning fun - it was such a good idea.
Not much; actually, not anything, apart from the weird looking blob, but I can live with that.
Maybe more learning and talk messages from other people. It’s nice to know that there’s life on Wikipedia.
The badges. They are certainly nice things to have, but I think that they were a tiny bit over the top.
Not really - only that I recommend this for people whwo are new to Wikipedia. It’s a brilliant intro!
-- Mysterioso790 ( talk) 19:28, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
CBlanton (WMF) ( talk) 23:42, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

to go to the next step so I could actually advance. Also, the dude that tells you that you didn't add a reference somehow increases the article's size to 6 MILLION, which is way beyond what most articles size is. And he doesn't even add 6 million bytes to the article, he only adds a maintenance template saying that the article needs refs....

Tomhartung ( talk) 20:58, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
It taught me lots of…let’s say stuff.
In my opinion, it should’ve been made like e.g. you just click the publish button instead of telling the program you did it.

Embarassment is too harsh a word, but you performing edits on my behalf is not exactly congenial.-- Pfc Headache, retd. ( talk) 08:20, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

Nothing!
