Regarding this edit, I interpret this, of course, as another attempt at recoloniZation! That aside, these were good edits. I'm glad you brought this to Linguist at Large's attention. Drmies ( talk) 17:54, 9 March 2009 (UTC) reply

1. Add a tl;dr summary at the top:

This page in a nutshell: There should be a presumtion to keep Wikipedia articles on verifiably independent, peer-reviewed, scholarly publications that otherwise may not meet general notability guideline requirements.

2. Add a sentence mentioning the incongruity of using a given journal as a reliable source for other articles while that same journal is deemed not notable in terms of having an article itself.
