Deletion overturned

The Deletion Review closed with a resounding "Undelete," so the original content of this page should be restored. -- El on ka 18:19, 13 March 2007 (UTC) reply

It was moved is all, the link is noted on this project page. Maybe a redirect would be more helpful though. Gwen Gale 18:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC) reply
I disagree about a redirect. The issue was whether or not this page should have been deleted. It went under review, and the decision was to undelete. We should move the info from the RFC redirect that's in Essjay's personal userspace, back to this location in Wikipedia space. The userspace location and then redirect to here, not the other way around. -- El on ka 02:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC) reply
I suspect one of the reasons the DRV passed was that people were happy with it staying in Essjay's userspace- which got around the fact it was an uncertified RfC and there had been no previous attempts to resolve the dispute. Listing it on an RfC subpage suggests it complied with RfC requirements, rather than just being the least worse place for the discussion to happen. If you're really keen on moving it back here though, I suggest a discussion where it might be noticed- perhaps Wikipedia:Community noticeboard? WjB scribe 02:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC) reply
