Is there a more dependable way to find out about new activities than just to "watch" this page? Netmouse ( talk) 19:23, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
On the principle that it generally minimizes overall effort for one person to include the day of the week in an announcement, rather than have everyone else look it up for themselves, I've added "Tue" to the
Future events list. Since the {{date}}
template used in column 1 doesn't accommodate day-of-week, I've put it in the "Location" column to keep the time company. I recommend continuing this practice in future.
As an expanded response to Netmouse's request just above, I'm also adding the Meetup.com information to the page. -- Thnidu ( talk) 16:13, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Meetup/Philadelphia/ArtAndFeminism 2015 has a banner: "This page is an archive. Do not edit the contents of this page. Please direct any additional comments to the current talk page."
I can understand why Wikipedia:Meetup/Philadelphia/ArtAndFeminism 2014: 2014 is over! But 2015 still has one-third to go. What's up with this? -- Thnidu ( talk) 07:48, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
I'd like to invite folks to add preliminary info for Minnesota's event this year at Wikipedia:Wiknic.-- Pharos ( talk) 18:43, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
I'm sure the Philadelphia meetup group is similarly limited in outreach to watchlist notices and mailing lists. In 2016, WM-NYC filed a task to allow CentralNotice (the banners on top of article pages) to target readers in local areas. Efforts have stalled and to spur progress it would be great if you could support it in the Community Wishlist Survey 2019. Voting end November 30. — Dispenser 20:33, 17 November 2018 (UTC)
Because of a lack of a companion, I am unable to attend today. Dthomsen8 ( talk) 18:35, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
Clicked the link at 12:02. "Sales have ended". Drat; that will teach me the importance of being on time. Jim.henderson ( talk) 16:06, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
