Working definition

The working definition for this one is pretty clear, "federal, provincial and territorial Canadian election timelines".-- Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Vital improvements

This is a "perfect" featured topic (all featured except Nunavut, which is not featurable). It meets current criteria perfectly well, and no changes are necessary to maintain status.-- Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Potential improvements

A couple of the provincial articles have red links for old elections, such as List of Newfoundland and Labrador general elections and List of Prince Edward Island general elections (post-Confederation); ideally, someone should try to write articles for these. Of course all of the articles should be updated whenever there are new elections in Canada.-- Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Possible additions

The scope seems to be quite complete under a Canada-as-federal-government-that-emerged-in-1867 definition. Possible additions could be List of elections in the Province of Canada and other election timelines outside of federal Canada, such as pre-1949 Newfoundland.-- Pharos 23:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC) reply

List of federal by-elections in Canada and List of snap elections in Canada could be added to the topic as-is - rst20xx ( talk) 21:03, 4 July 2008 (UTC) reply
Additionally, this could be expanded into several other larger topics:
- rst20xx ( talk) 21:03, 4 July 2008 (UTC) reply
Could also add Canadian federal election results (1867-1879), Canadian federal election results (1880-1899), Canadian federal election results (1900-1919), Canadian federal election results (1920-1939), Canadian federal election results (1940-1959), Canadian federal election results (1960-1979), Canadian federal election results (1980-1999) and Canadian federal election results (2000-) - or maybe these could be merged into Canadian federal election results since 1867? rst20xx ( talk) 14:58, 3 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Audited articles

Due to a change in the featured topic criteria, the Canadian election timelines featured topic has 3 months to satisfy criterion 3.c. by getting a peer review done for the audited article in the topic: List of Nunavut general elections. Rreagan007 ( talk) 04:14, 12 October 2008 (UTC) reply

List of Nunavut general elections has now undergone a peer review. Consequently, I have updated the topic box's status accordingly. Tompw ( talk) ( review) 12:28, 2 November 2008 (UTC) reply
