I know this is odd, but...

I wasn't sure where to ask this, because it's not an undeletion request. Lord knows I do NOT want this article to replace the one currently on site, but I was wondering if it could be placed in an uneditable archive form. I feel weird asking about it; it's kinda like that scene in The Simpsons when Bart's graffiti is considered Great Art after he is declared a genius, BUT... the 19 June 2009 version of the Slender Man article, while being complete bunk as a Wikipedia article, actually does have historical value (kinda), because it was created only nine days after the Slender Man himself on the same thread on which the Slender Man was created. It therefore offers an early snapshot into the development of this meme. Not only would it be useful for researchers, it would also provide an easy source of information for those still convinced the character is a real urban legend. Because the community deleted it we cannot host it. However assuming there are no copyvios in it then it still would be freely licensed. It should be allowed for an admin to send you both the text and the contribution history. The reason you need the history is because users need to get credit. Chillum 18:02, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
No copyvio is obvious or was suggested at the AFD, I can send you this version and the contributors list up to it, email me where you would like it sent, then leave me a talk message to check my email. — xaosflux Talk 19:02, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
