Many people are woefully ignorant of the fact that a person must take a degree to become a librarian. This page gives information about the Cambridge library traineeships and provides links to SCONUL, CILIP and the University of Cambridge. These useful links to professional bodies are invaluable. This article does not 'belong in more than one category.' If this article is deleted, it will truly be a terrible shame for potential librarians everywhere.
