It has come to my attention that a very valuable page (as a member of the Black Marsh mod for Oblivion) has been deleted without any true reason other then the desire of a child to have dominion over the Elder Scrolls herein Wikipedia. The deletion of this page was completely unnecessary as it was a reliable and easily accessible source of information for the region Black Marsh in the Elder Scrolls series of games. The very fact that one whom searches Black Marsh on Google will find this deleted page at the top of the search engine indicates to me that this was the most recognized source for information on this topic. It seems suspicious to me why one Judgesurreal777 has been behind the deletion of many Elder Scrolls pages, that is until I read his so called "Goals". It appears he desires to "take out the trash" in an attempt to completely re-make the Elder Scrolls data base on Wikipedia. I don't know how one finds the time for such time intensive activities, and I know that I alone cannot combat this menace to the Elder Scrolls data base as I work a 8-5 job, and I suspect that most other people with a life outside of living in their grandmother's basement are in the same predicament. However I think if many of us whom found the old Elder Scrolls pages useful team together, divided among us we may find the time and numbers to undo this destruction of the perfectly fine articles. Judgesuurreal777 claims to be a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, however he cannot see that his folly has led him to take a likeness to Melkor from Tolkien's legendarium. He desires to make all pages his own and in his own image. This is evident in his "goals" and "taking out the trash". That trash being the hours of time we spent making articles about the Elder Scrolls universe and so forth. Would it not be wiser, rather then to destroy the labors of others in an attempt to dominate, to share an opinion and add to currently existing articles? Assuming this child does find the time and drive to actually format the whole database on the Elder Scrolls, among his numerous other "goals", who is to say we as the general public will find these articles superior to the articles that were already in place? I assume you will be deleting the regions of Middle-earth next in an attempt to gain dominion there too Judgesurreal777? Perhaps you could start by deleting the Beleriand page?
As I said before I thought that Wikipedia was a place that would aim to centralize all data on earth for easy accessibility. The argument made by Judgesurreal, which makes little since to me after reading his goals, that Wikipedia is not a game guide holds very mote when one could consider the article desirable data. Thus it would prove true to Wikipedia's goal to contain that data for easy accessibility.
- You could of been useful before the article got deleted. Anyway the insults are credibility destroyers so if you want something done, keep them to the minimum. Especially since as some would notice, instead of doing things I have been watching this debacle unfold for like 3 days so yeah, I have no life until this is over. I was more concerned over Cyrodiil since it was the setting of oblivion and therefore much more notable. I'm still fighting this but more so the articles that are still here because basically all I've heard about these ones is that I'm fucked and I shouldn't bother with the ones that are already gone, but these were the good ones. If you want to do some good right now, go put your input at the afd pages Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/High Rock, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Organizations of The Elder Scrolls, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tamriel.
