Wall of text concern

I'm concerned that this nomination is attracting fewer participants than some of the others, whether pro or con. I don't really know why this is, but am worried that people are skipping over it, which is bad, as the greatest possible community participation is ideal for working out if I'm a good candidate or a bad one.

With this in mind, I'm thinking of reducing the off-putting "wall of text", in the hope that might encourage some more readers/participants. Sorry if that seems patronising to Wikipedians - I'm just trying to be realistic that people have busy lives and voting in an election like this may not be a top priority, especially when there's an encyclopedia to be written.

I'm therefore going to collapse all the questions and answers into show/hide boxes. If anyone thinks this is a lousy idea, please don't revert but say so here. As ever, I am open to being persuaded by argument. -- Dweller ( talk) 11:06, 28 July 2009 (UTC) reply

I'd say a bit of formatting might not go amiss a la other candidates' pages – but I don't think collapsing would be a good idea. Easier to miss things! – B.hoteptalk11:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC) reply
Actually, it doesn't look too bad. :) – B.hoteptalk11:16, 28 July 2009 (UTC) reply

Thanks. If there's a more appropriate show/hide template to use (I'm rubbish at them and frequently am ticked off at FAC for it!) please someone be bold and switch it. Thanks. -- Dweller ( talk) 13:04, 28 July 2009 (UTC) reply
