Inactive talk page over at List of Pokémon anime characters, so I'm putting it here as well. (Please respond at the source page, linked directly below)
Hello, as this article is over 50,000 words long, I think it would be reasonable that it is split into multiple articles. Here are some ideas:
Split by name: Split into articles titled List of Pokémon anime characters (A-M), List of Pokémon anime characters (N-Z), etc. Pros of this method are simplicity, though it may become harder to navigate, as related characters are no longer grouped together.
Split by introduction: This would include the article being split into several articles titled List of Pokémon anime characters (seasons 1-3), List of Pokémon anime characters (seasons 4-6), etc. Pros of this are sorting characters by when they were introduced, and thus were likely the most notable, though cons could be that many of the most notable characters are from season one, and related groups are not together.
Split into categories: This would be splitting into articles like List of Pokémon anime antagonists, List of gym leaders in the Pokémon anime, etc. Pros are that related characters are all together, though cons are that characters may need to neatly fit into one category. However, this is my preference.
Please do tell me your thoughts.

The article on Lynn Minmay, a character in the original Macross Saga (a.k.a. arc #1 of Robotech in the West)--h/t notes in " Daicon III and IV Opening Animations"; h/t, in turn, my overhearing " Hold On Tight" by ELO through a relative's Alexa in another room minutes ago--has recently been proposed for deletion per WP:NPLOT and WP:NCHARACTER. On the surface, there may be a few salvageable bits and pieces that we might see in other related pages. With these factors in mind, I have half a mind to deprod it and take it to AFD, suggesting a redirect or merge into List of Macross characters in the process.

Hello. There's a discussion about adding a potential production section as well as a reception section for the Dennō Senshi Porygon episode, which can be found at Talk:Dennō Senshi Porygon#Production and reception. Lord Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 21:33, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
Good Day,
I was performing cleaning up on the articles in Category:Anime and manga articles using obsolete and incorrect infobox parameters and I found out that many of the animes in that category was tagged because Crunchyroll Channel is on the network in the infobox. What should we do about this?

Regarding Angel's Egg, there is a discussion about the reliability of some sources. Editors are invited to comment here. Thanks, Erik ( talk | contrib) ( ping me) 17:21, 19 May 2024
Per MOS:FOREIGN#Terms with common usage in English: "A rule of thumb is to not italicize words that appear in major general-purpose English-language dictionaries." I just noticed that OED has included the terms shonen and shojo; [3] [4] Collins also included the terms seinen. [5] I cannot find evidence that the term 'josei' appears in a general-purpose English dictionary, but shouldn't the other terms be de-italicized? Xexerss ( talk) 20:09, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
The anime and manga infobox has a music parameter where we usually list the main composer(s). A few months ago on Revolutionary Girl Utena, I removed Seazer from the infobox since he only wrote the songs and Shinkichi Mitsumune is the primary composer, but it was reverted.
Given that, I have a question for project members: should we list only the main composer in the infobox, as with Template:Infobox television? Lord Sjones23 ( talk - contributions) 17:03, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
music
parameter says to credit the Person or persons who composed the original music. My interpretation is that this is for people who have composed the original soundtrack or have been credited as music composer (音楽, ongaku) in the credits, official website, or billing block (if there is any).
Hello!
I'm new to Wikipedia and wanted to add a translation for the already existing Japanese Wikipedia page of the voice actress Yuko Iida (飯田友子) but since I couldn't directly submit a translation, I made a new page which is currently pending review. I used the same template and content structure as other Wikipedia pages for Japanese voice actresses, as well as many of the resources listed by the corresponding Japanese Wikipedia page, but I wanted to let you guys know in case someone wants to take a look.
Sorry for the bother and thank you beforehand. I hope I can further contribute to the WikiProject! Link to the page is right here -> Draft:Yuko Iida MoonsideYasu ( talk) 19:50, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
It seems some people want to change it from "Pretty Cure" to "PreCure", as shown by recent page name changes of Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure to "Soaring Sky! PreCure" and " Pretty Cure All Stars F to "PreCure All Stars F", with claims it is "misspelled". I have since moved the page names back. Should I start discussions on the talk pages of the affected articles ( Talk:Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure and Talk:Pretty Cure All Stars F OR should I start a thread on Talk:Pretty Cure about this? It seems that TWO users are trying to determine the page name changes across ALL Pretty Cure pages on their own, as shown at Talk:Wonderful Pretty Cure!#Requested move 21 May 2024 (there is now a page-name request there). In my opinion, there should be more eyes on this before it gets out of hand. Suggestions on how I should proceed would be appreciated.-- Historyday01 ( talk) 17:03, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
There was a very short lived UK based anime/manga magazine that only lasted 2 issues in the mid 90's. It was a proper print magazine sent to stores with a publisher, so not a self-published fanzine. The creators have made the two issues freely available online so feel free to use it. Anime covered include: Patlabor 2, Project A-Ko, Irresponsible Captain Taylor, Madox-01, Ghost in the Shell (1995 film), Ranma, Hayao Miyazaki films, and a Koichi Ohata interview.
