Hello! For anyone who might be able to help me in accessing the article cited above, I'm lodging this request per a suggestion made by one of the FAC reviewers of Death of Cleopatra. You can find the FAC page here. I don't have access to Karger.com, so it is currently hindering the FA candidacy of my article. "Death of Cleopatra" already cites a decent variety of reliable sources, but the reviewer has expressed concerns that there simply aren't enough and that further input from other sources would help to verify other claims and provide greater balance to the article. Any help with this would be enormously appreciated.

Hi, I'm trying to determine whether
Jim Towey, a Florida politician, was a recipient of the Catholic archdiocese of Miami's Primum Regnum Dei award, granted in honour of the late Archbishop Coleman Carroll. (According to various non-reliable sources, he received the 'Archbishop John Carroll' award or the 'Regnum Dei' award from the archdiocese, neither of which appears to have ever been given to anyone else.) I'd also like to track down when and where he received the papal cross.
The diocesan newsletter (called The Voice prior to 1990, the Florida Catholic afterwards) seems to have published yearly lists of the recipients of both the PRD and the Papal Cross. I'm looking for any archived copies of the newsletter from between 1991 and 2003; so far, I've only been able to find ones published before 1991 or after 2009. I'd particularly like to see the April and September 2000 issues, as these are when two different sources say he was given the Papal Cross.
Cheers,

Does anyone have access to the Proceedings of the 5th International Congress of the International Association of Engineering Geology? It has been cited in various places (including our own 1556 Shaanxi earthquake) for the 1556 Shaanxi (Huaxian) earthquake having 830,000 fatalities, but I began to doubt, and am unable to verify. Item has an ISBN of 90-6191-664-X. It might be available at the IAEG home page, but only to members.
Alternately, is there anyone interested in researching some articles in Chinese? ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) ( talk) 00:40, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

Cheers,

I've found three different obituaries that mention people being awarded the medal on December 8, 1992; but it seems that more recently it's been given out in late September/early October. Someone else received one on October 4, 1998. Genericusername57 ( talk) 02:41, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

{{ resolved}} Also for Modified Mercalli intensity scale: I would like to get a copy of Conrad Richter's "Modified Mercalli scale of 1956", published in his 1958 text book Elementary Seismology. I know of a copy I could copy, but not for several weeks, so factor that in for how much trouble/time to spend on this. A link to a pdf of the text would be nice, and I thought I had one once, but can't find it now. Or even (but less likely) a pdf of just the scale itself. Note: this is not any "Modified Mercalli" scales such as done by Wood & Newmann (1931), Stover & Coffman (1993), or others; just Richter's 1956 scale, which I believe has not been published outside of the text.
Even if nothing can be found I would be interested in seeing what places have been searched. Thanks. ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) ( talk) 23:58, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
