Today's "Did you Know?" section on the front page states that "the Border Police of Georgia have continued to help enforce Georgian sovereignty over Abkhazia and South Ossetia since the end of the Russo-Georgian War".
This statement seems potentially contentious because Abkhazia and South Ossetia have claimed independence from Georgia and are recognized as independent states by a handful of other countries (most notably Russia). It is also unclear what exactly is meant by "help enforce Georgian sovereignty".
Looking at the linked article, Border Police of Georgia, it turned out that the part of claim pertaining to South Ossetia had a reference that did not support the claim so I removed it. (In fact the cited source was a news article about an incident where South Ossetians removed a Georgian flag from disputed territory claimed by South Ossetia, and did not mention the Georgian border police at all.)
The fact that the first reference was invalid calls into question the second reference in this sentence. However, the second reference is behind a paywall so I am not able to access it.
Can someone check whether the reference below supports the claim that "the Border Police of Georgia have continued to help enforce Georgian sovereignty over Abkhazia [...] since the end of the Russo-Georgian War"?
It would also be helpful to make the claim more specific by describing what actions the border police have done in the Abkhazian area to enforce Georgian sovereignty claims.

There is no citation at the end of that sentence, but the next sentence makes a reference to Who's Who which requires subscription. If someone has access to that document could they tell me whether or not it claims he is an only child? I have solid, but not citable evidence that this is incorrect. If the source doesn't make the claim, it's easy enough to remove but if the source does make the claim I'll have to think through what to do next. -- S Philbrick (Talk) 15:49, 13 October 2017 (UTC)

{{ resolved}} I'm looking for the titles of three articles. The subject is Fred Jackson (saxophonist).
Two are from issues of Living Blues published by the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
I need the titles of these three articles to resolve citations with red links. Thank you for the help.

I'd like to get a copy of this full article: https://www.welt.de/vermischtes/article167408959/Ich-war-ein-einfaches-Opfer.html.
It would be useful for the Mattress Performance (Carry That Weight) article.

I would highly appreciate if someone can get me a copy or pdf of that chapter. I work on swwiki on the astronomy articles. I try to find out, how the Swahili sailors got to know the modern age constellations for some of which they had a local terminology. Else they used traditional Arab terminology. -- Kipala ( talk) 11:49, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

This RBTH article has some relevant quotes ("very unprofessional", "It is tactically and mathematically very difficult to resurrect the incident in which all five Hunters in a hard turn were claimed to have been shot down in a 270-degree turn in 23 seconds", "Logically, since the five were claimed to have been shot down in 23 seconds, then they should all have crashed in close proximity. The conjecture that all the rest could have crashed after 8-9 minutes of flying is superfluous and unworthy of the official PAF history") which might help locate pages in the book that discuss Alam's claims. Hey--can y'all help me get this, I, Deug-Su (2002). "Lioba-dilecta Bonifatii. Eine Liebesgeschichte im 8. Jahrhundert?" Medieval English Studies 10(2): 29-80. In addition, I'm wondering if anyone can figure out what the relation is between that and this, I, Deug-Su (2001). "Lioba-dilecta Bonifatii: Die Eloquenz des Schweigens in lateinischen Quellen des Mittelalters." Jahrbuch für internationale Germanistik 33(2): 189-219. I have that, and it seems very much the same, and oddly enough the printout has the same subtitle as the aforementioned article. Thanks! Drmies ( talk) 16:21, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
