Malaysian WikiProject

The Malaysian collaboration article and images will be voted each month. The goal of this department is to promote Malaysia-related articles or images. Every month, new nominees are added and voters can participate to choose the suitable nominated.

Being a Malaysian is not a requirement to contribute in this project. The voting process is generated when an article is being improved. Therefore, there will be two processes, article improvement and voting. The article must be tagged and if the article was successfully nominated, it will be on Portal:Malaysia's selected article or image.

Requirement

Base

• Make sure the nominations list only contains 5 nominations. Newer nominations will be removed.
• The nominated article or image must be associated to Malaysia.
• If the reason given was not good enough, it will be removed.

Articles

• The article must be in the scope of WikiProject Malaysia.
• The article must not be stub.
• Do not place common article like Malaysia.

Images

• The image should not be blurry and low-resolution.
• The images must not be too common like the Malaysia flag.

Start Nominating

1. Click the button below (View current nominations).
2. Click "Nominate an article or image"
3. Review the page notice at the top and add the template.
4. Add in request and write every information inside the given template.
5. Submit.

Articles

1. Think a suitable article for this collaboration.
2. Nominate the article for the collaboration.
3. Don't feel bad about someone because the article you've nominated has lost or losing. This is our project, we work together. You can always add another nominee the week after.
4. Wait until the whole procedure of nominating an article has done.
5. Change the {{[[Template:Malaysian collaboration nominee|Malaysian collaboration nominee]}} template with {{ Current Malaysian collaboration|month=}} template on the article's discussion page.
6. Start improving the article the best you can!
7. If you want, please discuss any relevant issue with other editors here.
8. When the current article's improvement time has finished, change the {{ Current Malaysian collaboration}} template with {{ Past Malaysian collaboration|month=|year=}} template.

Images

1. Search or find a picture that is suitable for this collaboration.
2. Nominate the article for the collaboration.
3. Don't feel bad about someone because the picture you've nominated has lost or losing. This is our project, we work together. You can always add another nominee the week after.
4. Wait until the whole procedure of nominating a picture has done.
5. If you want, please discuss any relevant issue with other editors here.

• A suggestion, vote, or a show of support for a article/image shows your commitment to support and aid in collaborating on that specific article/image if it is chosen.
• You are requested to add a comment why the article/image should be nominated for collaboration or not. If not the count probably not be accounted.
• Please do not because you like it. The nomination is for good quality article or images, not the content you like to be displayed or have achievement.
• We don't oppose.
• We use conesus more than voting. See WP:VOTE
