Another important period of the
Hong Kong history, featuring the vast improvement in the
economy of Hong Kong after it picked up its track in developing into a financial centre. Why not improving this article then, just like we did for

An article that has undergone quite a few changes. A once fairly popular Hong Kong singer and actor. Article was recently re-started because of a copyright violation. Now appears to be scattered and rather un-organized.

Apparently the Hong Kong Golden Forum is one of the biggest Hong Kong-based internet forums. Named after the Golden Computer Arcade in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. This article has already undergone 2 AfD's, a 3rd one will be its' last. Surely such a notable internet forum has more information than what is currently there.

Li Ching is an important athlete in Hong Kong. The Li Ching article is only stub class on both Wikiproject Biography and Wikiproject Hong Kong. A infobox is needed and needed to translate from Chinese to English, which is requested on the
article page.

The Bus Uncle is a important event in Hong Kong. As we said in the talk page, we should improve it and make it to the FA.

From a western point of view,
I understand the frustration of both.
But!
This Bus Uncle is not a simple event to protest busy conditions in Hong Kong.
It is a global phenomena.
In the U.S. and Europe, disrespect began after the second world war - Asia held firm on traditional values.
The "Bus Uncle" shows that disrespect has infected Hong Kong.
I was born in 1953. When I was a child, my parents and elders insisted on respect. I believed my actions showed others how much I respected not only myself, but also my parents and siblings.
I didn't want my parents to think bad of me. I wanted them to respect me.
Tney did. I did.
Today, I know that my job performance can improve my families quality of life. I want my children to have a better life. So I work every day and make sure my boys go to school - study their assignments and perform well on tests so they can have a better future.
My boys know they are defeated when their only choice is attack. My boys know their actions speak for me. Tney understand restraint.
Bus Uncle is contrary but a good lesson to teach respect.
Reasons Nominated here after closing an afd on the subject as keep, article has multiple cleanup tags. Notability has been establish through article content is dependent on primary sources for much of the information. First publicly listed company to come thru a program between HK uni and HK Government, multiple award winner. IMHO it may not survive at DRV as pure numbers in afd were for deletion without a concerted effort to source and cleanup the article. Gnan garra 03:26, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
