Notes

  1. ^ According to canon 1752 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law, the supreme law of the Catholic Church is the salvation of souls: Salus animarum lex suprema. Hence the parody Fontes Vicipædiæ lex suprema, that is, "The sources of Wikipedia are the supreme law", a maxim that all editors of this magnificent encyclopedia do well to remember.
