Welcome to the Biota of Great Britain and Ireland WikiProject, a collaborative effort by a group of wikipedians to coordinate and organize the improvement of all articles related to the flora, fauna and conservation of Great Britain and Ireland. Our members are encouraged to follow all existing policies and guidelines and help bring all related articles to a quality standard. A large emphasis is made on citing reliable sources. If you would like to help, please join the project.
The scope of this WikiProject is to encompass articles and lists of biota within the islands of Great Britain and Ireland.
Where they exist, guidelines of associated WikiProjects should be used in creating content on biota of Great Britain and Ireland. For example, for the European Storm-petrel article, the guidelines of WikiProject Birds should be used.
A list of articles needing cleanup associated with this project is available. See also the tool's wiki page and the index of WikiProjects.
