Usual needs crap that doesn't get done

• Articles for the more popular and "star" players of the league need to be expanded, have citations added to them and hopefully we can get some GA's out of them.
• All articles on active players and coaches need to be updated with stats, news, and all things important. (Note: For stats it's best to use ArenaFan.)
• Please help in re-assessing articles, as well as expanding them. We need to get to work on it and get as much done as possible.

SaberCats Extinct?

• On July 2, the San Jose Mercury News reported that the San Jose SaberCats might fold.

Firebirds in Trouble?

• On July 8, it was reported that the Albany Firebirds' future appears to be uncertain, due to less than stellar attendance.

af2 Hall of Fame

• On July 17, it was announced that the af2 would induct the inaugural class of the af2 Hall of Fame. The class will consist of 10 inductees, from five categories: Players, Coaches, Administrators (owners and front office), Officials and At-large/Contributors to the game. The criteria for player and coach nomination are that they must have played or coached for at least one season. The inaugural class will be announced during the lead-in week of ArenaCup10.

• On July 8, the Kentucky Horsemen suspended FB/ LB Bernard Jackson.
• On July 10, the Rio Grande Valley Dorados activated OS Ramonce Taylor.
• On July 15, the Tri-Cities Fever activated OS Tremaine Kirkland from Injured reserve.
• On July 24, the Mahoning Valley Thunder placed WR/ DB C. J. Brewer on Injured Reservre.

• Our goal is to get the number of Stub-Class articles down to 0, in due time. The current article count is listed below, I have placed the formula that is on the project page that is updated everytime the bot is run and it tallies up our articles and where they are and lists them as seen below, so that no one has to worry about making sure it's updated manually before the newsletter is sent out. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list is provided in the stub-class category of stub articles that need to be improved, and some should be fairly easy.

• Distinguish names of players with similar names.

• Based on the members list, there are currently 30 members participating in WikiProject Arena Football League.
