The Questionable Article Award was an award given to the most questionable of articles by the Questionable Cabal. The award was not an article quality award like the Good Articles Award or Featured Articles star.
The award is discontinued as of last year.
What we meant by "Questionable" is Unusual, Disturbing, or otherwise eyebrow-raising. They could be articles that are meta-questionable, as in the history of the article itself is Unusual, Disturbing, or otherwise, or, the article's content could also be a candidate for its Questionably. But this definition is fluid, and if you find something plain and simple questionable, nominate it with a good argument as to why you feel that way.
The award was awarded to an article through the nomination process, detailed below.
Every week, a page would've been created to vote on the nominations of last week, and to nominate articles for voting next week. The nomination with the most votes would've been awarded the Questionable Article Award.
Watch this youtube video, It did describe our entire voting system. Just note that the nominations from the previous week were voted on, not the nominations from the current week.
This section describes how one would've participated in the Nomination process.
Make your nomination part of an unordered list (using the * character), followed by a wikilink to the nominated article, and a convincing argument (though this is not required). All followed by a signature. Place it under the "Nominations" section. An example is below:
*[[WP:Questionable Cabal]] it's questionable ~~~~
To vote for a nomination, you would've append the following under the nomination you wish to support:
:#'''Support''' ~~~~
Is it the start of a new week and you want to vote? Simply create the new page by clicking on the redlink on the main page and put in:
{{subst:qc-nom|year|week number}}
to subst the boilerplate into the page, where year is the current year and week number is the current ISO week number. Both are in the name of the page you would be creating.
