- Keep Userspace is not required to directly relate to WP. "Non-English" is not a specic reason for deletion. Appears to be a reference of some sort -- absent a rationale from someone who reads Chinese, it ought not be deleted. Collect ( talk) 14:07, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- The page is actually in English. It is original research, see the top it says "by His Holiness Oseodion Aburime I, Pope of the Universal Church on the Holy See of Imhotep the High Priest of Heliopolis, Prince of Peace." see [1]. - Having something to do with building an encyclopedia is a requirement for the userspace. From WP:NOT: "Wikipedians have their own user pages, but they may be used only to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia.". You can't just use your userspace to write a new novel or a paper on a word game you have created. Wikipedia is not the place to post something you came up with after school one day. We are not a web hosting company, but a project to build an encyclopedia. The article is basically an English description of a letter/word games using a foreign alphabet. - Blank and leave a nice note on the talk page with a link back to this MfD. While I'd normally agree with Collect approach, closer inspection leads me to agree with deletion. Cryptically covers an Egyptian pharoah [2], a Nigerian culture, [3] [4] the Obas of Benin and Chinese orthography in some sort of very original synthesis. Probably related to the now deleted User:Uku Akpolo kpolo Otue Esan, His Holiness Aba Oseodion Aburime I page. See also [5] and [6]. - I also think prod should be allowed for userspace, with the condition that if the user missed the prod that they can contest it after the deletion. Chillum 21:28, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Used to be. Goes to show I should pay more attention. Regardless, I think if no one actually wants it for anything, we might as well delete it.
