Draft:KT Astrologer

Draft:KT Astrologer ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Promotional autobiography for an astrologer. I don't see how any amount of editing could make it appropriate for Wikipedia. It's not a question of tone or phrasing, but of the subject and the claims made for their skills and abilities. No reliable sources have been offered for these skills and abilities (nor can any be, in my world). Bishonen | talk 19:47, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Delete Some very iffy sourcing (it seems some of it is actually to other Wikipedia articles), no evidence of real notability. Slatersteven ( talk) 19:53, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply

It seems the youtube video "'youtube link'". is posted on Sep 27, 2017. So his predictions are in good standing! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davecarlos ( talkcontribs) 20:22, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply

@ Davecarlos: please read WP:NOTSOURCE. Curb Safe Charmer ( talk) 20:28, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete: Six of the nine references are WP:SELFPUBLISHED. The Grahasanket Magazine sources do not look reliable, and in any case fail verification. The News24 reference doesn't mention Kathir Subbiah. This draft is about a non-notable astrologer and serves only to promote him. Curb Safe Charmer ( talk) 20:34, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep It is the magazine being published in Maharashtra in their local language. Someone from India can verify this. New24 mentions KT Astrologer, which is Kathir Subbiah. You can refer to his website "ktastro web". and amazon author page "amazon page".. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davecarlos ( talkcontribs) 20:43, 10 November 2017 (UTC) Davecarlos ( talk) 21:39, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Keep: Grahasanket Magazine is a printed magazine in Maharashtra. It does not have online version. Scanning the magazine and uploading it as image file can help here! Sathya43 ( talk) 21:42, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Keep: He self-published "'youtube link'". on Sep 27, 2017. His predictions came true exactly on Oct 09, 2017. We need to keep this page, monitor any further developments closely. Deleting the page only because of "self-publish" is not fair process - i believe! my 2 cents. Indira1951 ( talk) 21:31, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Socking. This is getting quite ridiculous. The SPAs Davecarlos, Sathya43, and Indira1951 are obviously one person. For one thing, they're all brand new, and for another, they all sign in the same erroneous way (both before and after their comment), see History. I've blocked them all for abusing multiple accounts. I guess they weren't able to predict that. Bishonen | talk 22:46, 10 November 2017 (UTC). reply
  • Delete Non-notable, sources are at best primary and self-published, and at worst don't support claims they are there to cite. Godo grief - a press release was used? This is a promotional article and should be deleted. Ravensfire ( talk) 23:34, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete: Purely promotional A search finds no reliable sources establishing notability, article makes extraordinary pseudoscientific claims that require extraordinary proof. And the smell of socks posting keep !votes is making this place smell like a locker room. -- Guy Macon ( talk) 23:44, 10 November 2017 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - Cannot find sources in large English papers. Promotional article with primary-sourced extraordinary claims. — Paleo Neonate – 04:46, 11 November 2017 (UTC) reply
