This ND Black Lives Matter Wikipedia Edit-a-thons celebrates Black History Month and the black alumni and faculty at the University of Notre Dame. This event is designed to generate coverage of influential black ND faculty and alumni on Wikipedia and encourage a more diverse editorship.

Join Black Faculty and Staff Association, the Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture and Hesburgh Libraries in celebrating Black History Month. Together, we’ll research, write, and publish to Wikipedia the significant stories of the influential black alumni and faculty of Notre Dame.

• Dave Duerson - He was the former Notre Dame football player and member of the storied 19585 Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champions; Notre Dame’s first black president of the Monogram Club. [1] [2]
• Frazier Thompson - He was a first black student to enter Notre Dame and the first black student-athlete at Notre Dame; one of the three black students to graduate from Notre Dame in 1947; Notre Dame Alumni Association minority alumni network.

• Alan Page - Justice Alan Page was a member of the Notre Dame’s 1966 National Championship Football Team and was a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court. [7] [8] [9]
