Since July 2013, Unforgetting LA is a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thons to build a better online history of art in Southern California. We meet throughout the year at museums and art spaces around Los Angeles, including the Getty Research Institute, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, LACMA, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), the Hammer Museum, and the California African American Museum. Beginners are welcome and training is offered at each meetup. Unforgetting L.A. is organized by the online art magazine East of Borneo.
